As one of the founding partners of the company, Thomas M. O’Connor presently concentrates on criminal defense and personal injury. In his capacity as a partner at OâConnor, Runckel & O’Malley LLP, Mr. O’Connor frequently represents clients in all misdemeanor and criminal cases in addition to litigating personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Mr. O’Connor hails from a long line of illustrious solicitors and is a fifth-generation San Francisco native. Thomas Martin O’Connor, his namesake and grandfather, served as San Francisco’s city attorney from 1961 until his retirement in 1977. Thomas Lynch, his cousin, served as the District Attorney of San Francisco and as the California State Attorney General for three terms. His great-grandfather, Thomas Martin O’Connor, was a well-known criminal barrister in San Francisco.
